HERtreat Terms & Conditions

Effective Date 29.02.26

HERtreat (“the Retreat”) is presented by Women of the Murray Ltd (ABN 80 692 385 792) (“the Organiser”).

Tickets sold or allocated for HERtreat are issued on the express condition that the purchaser and ticket holder (“the holder”) agrees to and is bound by the following Terms & Conditions of sale and entry, which form part of the contract between Women of the Murray, the purchaser, and the holder.

These Terms & Conditions apply to all attendees of HERtreat.

Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully and take responsibility for your ticket purchase.

1. Ticket Purchase & Confirmation

All tickets must be purchased through the official Women of the Murray ticketing platform.
Your booking is confirmed once full payment has been received.
Tickets are limited and subject to availability.
Membership-priced tickets are only valid for current Women of the Murray members and must match the name on the active membership.

2. Transfers, Refunds & Cancellations

Tickets are non-refundable, except where required under Australian Consumer Law.

Tickets may be transferred to another person with prior written approval from Women of the Murray. All transfer requests must be finalised no later than 7 days prior to the Retreat start date.

If HERtreat is cancelled by the Organiser, ticket holders will be issued a refund of the ticket price paid, excluding any third-party booking or processing fees.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Women of the Murray is not liable for any direct or indirect loss, damage, or inconvenience resulting from:

  • Use of or inability to access this Site

  • Errors or omissions in any content

  • Any third-party products or services linked through the Site

We do not guarantee that the Site will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted.

Our Site may include links to third-party websites or platforms (e.g. Eventbrite, Instagram, or Mailchimp). We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of these external sites.

Nothing in these Terms excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Where services are provided, our liability is limited (where permitted) to re-supplying the services or refunding the amount paid.

3. Force Majeure

Women of the Murray is not liable for circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, extreme weather, fire, flood, pandemic, government restrictions, industrial action, or similar events.

In such circumstances, any refunds, credits, rescheduling, or program changes will be determined at the sole discretion of Women of the Murray and subject to its legitimate business interests.

4. Accommodation

Accommodation bookings are separate from retreat tickets unless expressly stated otherwise.

Where shared accommodation is selected, attendees are responsible for coordinating with their chosen cabin mate. To confirm shared cabin allocations, attendees must email hello@womenofthemurray.com.au with relevant booking details.

Cabin allocations are final once confirmed. Women of the Murray is not responsible for changes requested due to personal preference after booking.

5. Health, Self-Care & Participation

HERtreat includes wellness-based experiences such as movement, creative workshops, reflective sessions, and group activities.

By attending HERtreat, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Participation in all activities is voluntary

  • You are responsible for your own physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing

  • You may choose which sessions or experiences you attend

  • It is your responsibility to seek support if needed

You confirm that you are physically and medically able to participate and have not been advised otherwise by a qualified medical professional.

6. Code of Conduct

HERtreat is a respectful, inclusive, and supportive environment.

Disruptive, unsafe, or disrespectful behaviour will not be tolerated. Women of the Murray reserves the right to remove any participant whose behaviour negatively impacts others or the integrity of the Retreat, without refund.

7. Alcohol & Catering

Attendees may bring their own alcohol for personal consumption, to be enjoyed responsibly and in moderation.

Excessive or unsafe alcohol consumption will not be tolerated. Women of the Murray reserves the right to intervene where alcohol use impacts the safety, wellbeing, or experience of others.

No alcohol will be sold at HERtreat.

Each retreat ticket includes all meals, snacks, drinking water, and non-alcoholic beverages as outlined in the event program.

Attendees staying in deluxe cabins or bringing their own caravan are welcome to bring refrigerated items for personal use. Refrigeration access is limited and may not be available for all accommodation types. Attendees are responsible for the storage and management of their own food and beverages.

8. Items Not Permitted Onsite

For the safety, wellbeing, and enjoyment of all attendees, the following items are not permitted onsite:

  • Illegal drugs or substances

  • Glass containers

  • Personal generators or fuel-powered equipment

  • Gas stoves or cooking appliances (except where used by authorised vendors or the venue)

  • Open flames, incense, or candles

  • Fireworks, lasers, or flammable materials

  • Weapons or any items deemed dangerous or hazardous

Alcohol is permitted only in accordance with Section 7 (Alcohol & Catering) of these Terms & Conditions.

Attendees must comply with venue rules, reasonable safety checks, and directions provided by event staff or venue representatives.

9. Photography & Videography Consent

Women of the Murray documents and promotes HERtreat through photography and videography.

By purchasing a ticket and attending HERtreat, you consent to photography and videography being captured during the Retreat. These images and recordings may be used by Women of the Murray for promotional, marketing, social media, website, and reporting purposes.

If you do not wish to appear in photographs or video footage, you must notify the Organiser in writing prior to the Retreat.

Attendees may take personal photos and videos on their phones, provided they respect the privacy and consent of others. Images and recordings may not be used for commercial purposes without permission.

10. Services & Utilities

Attendees acknowledge that internet access, mobile reception, and utilities may be limited or unreliable at the venue. This is not grounds for refund or compensation.

11. Liability

Women of the Murray holds appropriate public liability insurance for the Retreat.

To the extent permitted by law, Women of the Murray is not liable for any loss, damage, injury, illness, or death suffered by attendees in connection with HERtreat.

Attendance and participation in all activities is voluntary and undertaken at the participant’s own risk.

12. Privacy

Personal information collected during ticket purchase and event registration is handled in accordance with the Women of the Murray Privacy Policy and used only for Retreat-related communication and organisational purposes.

13. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing a ticket to HERtreat, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
